Appointments: (844) 390-3778
The Initial Consultation takes about an hour to review your current mental health concerns, treatments that you may have had in the past, and your family history. We will talk about what you want to achieve, what I see as the problem, and then agree upon a strategic treatment plan. If the visit takes a bit longer, we will take the time to finish.
In Advance of the Consultation you will receive paperwork to complete and return 2 days prior to your appointment and I will review your medical history in advance. I will understand your current concerns, history, medications, supplements and any recreational drug or alcohol use whether now or in the past. When we start our visit, I already have a snapshot of your concerns which makes the first visit easier and productive. Our relationship is collaborative and must be honest in order to achieve your goals.
My Virtual Office: You will receive a link in your email prior to your appointment which directs you to my virtual office. You need a computer or smart phone with a camera and microphone and it is best to have a strong internet signal. I use Doxy.me which is secure for medical visits. You click on the link, enter your name and push the login button. I will take a picture of you before we start and store the picture securely in your chart.
Follow-up Appointments: Every patient that I see is unique; therefore, follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed based upon your progress. Regardless of your diagnosis and treatment plan, I will see you on a regular basis. If I hear from you before your next appointment with a concern, I will see you sooner. I am available to my patients via email or phone calls to the office during our regular office hours. I want to hear from my patients when they need help rather than wait to see me for the next visit. You will never be wrong to reach out when you feel the need and quick questions may be be able to be addressed on the phone or via email. Follow-up visits last about 30 minutes.
My practice does not accept insurance. However, we will provide you will a billing slip to submit to your insurance and they will reimburse you directly based on your benefits. We accept all credit and debit cards including those cards that are part of a flexible spending plan through your employer.
I am licensed to practice medicine in Nevada and Texas. Tele-medicine allows me to see patients who reside within the borders of these states and patients enjoy the convenience. When my patients are traveling for business or pleasure, their visit can still take place. I use Doxy.me, a secure HIPAA compliant platform to ensure privacy.
